Algonquin Park Summer Attractions in Muskoka Region
WINTER ACTIVITIES - SUMMER ACTIVITIES
Being right next to Algonquin Provincial Park and Spring Lake, as well as the Lake of Bays, offers an extraordinary collection of activities for our guests during the summer. Algonquin Park Backpacking is particularly popular as there are a multitude of choices you have to take off and see nothing but trees and spectacular scenery for days on end.
For the less adventurous on your Algonquin Park Vacation, there are many hiking and biking trails that can be accessed from Spring Lake Resort or if you would like to enjoy the lake we provide complimentary canoes. We have a wonderful, sandy beach that is perfect for sunbathing, swimming, fishing and boating. Take the time to explore the many Muskoka attractions throughout the area. Horseback riding and golf are available close by.
Just a short distance away is the Lake of Bays. The Lake of Bays is the second largest lake in Muskoka and has numerous small towns around it, as well as its own extensive natural beauty. It is perfect for a day trip, walking through the historic towns and seeing what it offered by the local vendors. Dwight Beach at the Lake of Bays is a shallow, sandy beach which is ideal for wading, swimming and launching a canoe. Canoe and boat rentals are available in the area.
Whatever your summer activity outdoor interest is, it’s all available within a short walk or a short ride from our central location. You have the opportunity to do something different every day. We recommend a schedule of two days of relaxation for every one day of business, or just a week-long string of outdoor, relaxing activities!
